Electronic and shock training collars are banned or restricted in a number of places. They are illegal in Wales and Scotland, banned in several European countries and Australian states, and a ban has been debated in England. Automatic bark modes misfire. They trigger on other dogs, on traffic and on a dog's own movement, which means punishing an animal at random. That is how fear and aggression get created.
Most vet and behaviour bodies, including the BVA and the RSPCA, advise against these collars and recommend reward-based training instead. If your dog barks excessively, a qualified behaviourist will get further than a collar.
Never leave a static collar on an unsupervised dog, and never fit one to a puppy, an anxious dog or a dog with a medical problem.
The 1000m figure is the maximum in open ground with clear line of sight. Real range is far shorter.

I haven't tried it but I am quite disappointed. The description states a range of 1000 MTS. When the box arrives, it says 600 yards, about 540 MTS. In the box, it states the effective distance.

A collar is missing. It's not that bothersome. But one receiver doesn't work correctly, the seller wanted to refund 4 HUF. It's ridiculous...it's about 0.05 Euro.
