Great for the money! Very handy with small cleanup where my ms362 is too heavy to swing around. We'll see how the plastic holds up over time, looks very much "biodegradable" at a glance. My carb was way off! But nothing a small screwdriver can't fix ... and it came included! Other than that i'm definitely swapping out the chain, the stock one is just not very good. I mean it'll cut a few times, but will need frequent sharpening and is gut too soft. I didn't expect much from this saw and it filled the spot for me. As others said the tensioned is oddly placed on the cover, and the clutch is on the outside of the sprocket, so put the chain on the sprocket first, then put the bar in, then flip the whole thing upside down so you can see where your tensioner pin lands and adjust accordingly before closing the cover.

I assembled and ran this saw as soon as I got it. assembly wasn't hard but I am an old hand with chainsaws. to make it easy for the newcomer when you go to put the bar and chain on release the chain break unlike most saws I've handled this one is on the cover plate and will restrict removal if you don't unlock it. after you place the bar and chain on the saw when your replacing the cover plate you will probably have to adjust the chain tension screw just place the cover plat on as far as it goes and then back off the tension screw untill the pin falls into the hole in rhe bar put the nuts on loosely tension the chain with the bar pulled upwards by its nose and then tighten your bolts and your off to the races. ok that out of the way this saw fired right up when I followed start procedure no endless pulling. I will probably adjust the carb to fine tune it but anyone could get away with running it as is. I gave this saw the honeymoon treatment and gave it way more use than its likely to
