Check whether this tool crimps as well as strips in the product options. Many listings in this category are strippers only, and you still need a crimper for RJ45 plugs.
Use
Set the blade depth on a scrap length first. A stripper set too deep nicks the insulation on the conductors underneath, which causes intermittent faults that are very hard to trace later — the cable works, then does not, and nothing looks wrong.
Strip only as much jacket as you need, and do not untwist the pairs further back than necessary; excess untwist is the main reason a run fails a certification test.
The blade is sharp and replaceable. Keep it out of reach of children.
