The listing called these orthopaedic and a bunion adjuster and valgus corrector. Those have been taken out. These are comfort cushions, not a medical or orthopaedic device, and they have not been assessed by any medical regulator.

A gel separator does not correct a bunion. A bunion (hallux valgus) is a change in the bone and joint. Nothing worn between the toes moves the bone back, and no non-surgical device corrects one — the only correction is surgery. What these genuinely do is stop the toes rubbing and cushion a sore joint, which is worth having.

Do not use these if you have diabetes, poor circulation or neuropathy without asking a podiatrist — anything worn tightly between toes can restrict circulation and cause damage you will not feel.

Do not use them on broken or infected skin, or between toes with athlete's foot. Take them out if the toe feels numb, cold or tight. Wash and dry them after use and do not share them. A painful bunion is worth seeing a podiatrist about.
