I used to have a hard time trimming my black-tan miniature dachshund's nails because they were black and the veins were not visible, but this grinder allowed me to trim them beautifully in a short time. You get what you pay for! I think it's the best method for dogs with black nails and no visible veins. They didn't resist it at all while I was trimming them, which was a relief.
My dog is afraid of scissors, but with this device she lay calmly and allowed me to trim her nails. I am 100% satisfied.
