The title said these give a firmer, brighter look. That has been taken out. These are cosmetic hydrating patches, not a treatment. They do not firm skin, brighten skin, or remove lines or puffiness. Dark circles and puffiness come from genetics, thin skin, tiredness and fluid — a gel patch reaches none of them. A cool patch feels good on tired eyes and hydrated skin looks a little smoother for a while. That is the effect.
The "gold" is colouring. It does nothing for your skin.
Safety
Place on the orbital bone, not close to the lash line. Never let one get into the eye — rinse with water if it does. Patch test and wait 24 hours before first use; the skin around the eye is thin and reacts easily. Single use only — do not re-apply a used patch. Take out contact lenses first. Stop if the skin becomes red, itchy or sore. Keep out of reach of children.
