8 inch Wood Rasp Files — Coarse Teeth, Flat, Round and Half-Round
Coarse-toothed 8-inch wood rasps for shaping and roughing timber, in flat, round and half-round profiles.
Key Features
8 inch length
Coarse rasp teeth
Flat, round and half-round profiles
For shaping and roughing wood
Check which profiles are included in the product options before ordering. File on the forward stroke only and lift on the return. Clean the teeth with a file card as you go — a clogged rasp tears the wood. Rasps leave a rough surface by design; follow with a file and sandpaper.
Wear eye protection and a dust mask. Fit a handle if the tang is bare — a bare tang will go into your palm if the rasp catches.
