I am delighted at this gauge, it was a bargain. It's not a low end but semiprofessional device. Seems to be accurate. Only disadvantage I see is that you can't force a range of measurement. Automatic range is always on. Device is powered by 2xAAA so the maximum voltage at diode test is about 2,25V (impossible to test white LEDs).

This is one of the best low budget meters available. It does everything except capacitance and has pretty good accuracy, I measured mine to be around 1% on most ranges, 2% on ACV. The continuity test function is instant, beating many much more expensive meters at the response speed and the beeper has good volume, also better than many others. It's a great deal for less than the price of a coffee.

Uses AAA batteries. Auto-shutoff after 15 minutes. Has a backlight you can turn on. Auto-ranging works with low delay. Probes are cheap but stay plugged in and work OK. Continuity beep is loud enough to hear but not annoying. NCV "works" but is only yes/no, so you should probably get a dedicated non-contact probe. Very good for the price.
