Safety
This is a DC meter. Do not connect it to AC mains.
Fuse the supply to the meter and observe polarity — reversing it destroys most of these instantly. Route the wiring away from hot or moving parts, and do not tap into airbag, ABS or ECU circuits.
It is a hobby-grade indicator, not a calibrated instrument, and not a battery management system. Expect a small error and do not rely on it for anything safety-critical.
