Use it in a plain drill, not on hammer mode. Hammer action cracks tile and destroys the bit.
Start at an angle to get the bit biting, then bring it upright. Use low speed and light pressure.
"Dry" does not mean it likes running dry. Water cooling makes the bit last several times longer and keeps the dust down. Use water wherever you can, and let the bit cool between holes if you cannot.
