HiFi Digital Music Player - DSD256, PCM384k, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi & USB DAC

Very small and powerful player. The interface is very user friendly. So far I have loaded over 8000 songs and I can navigate them with no problem. It boots up fast and and lag during browsing is minuscule. The screen is easy to read and can get very bright. The player can read English and Cyrillic alphabet. Works excellent with headphones or wireless speaker. I recommend getting the case for this player, it will help protect it. The battery will last more or less 15 hours but depends on how you use it. I wish this player had and FM/AM receiver to listen to some radio. Another thing I wish it could do is to read MIDI files. Overall very good , I'm very happy to have it.

This Hiby R1 is astoundingly good for the £50 I paid, build quality is solid and sturdy, even though it's mostly plastic, WHY the BACK is glass is just pointless. UI experience: 5/5 It's extremely well thought out, VERY easy to use. Creating playlists is easier on this than ANY other budget DAP I've tried, you can easily select multiple files to add to a playlist - something many other players just don't do. All the functions are there - quick searching, equaliser, favourites etc and it really couldn't be easier to use. Sound quality: 4/5 Though the sound is clean, detailed and punchy (using MSEB), I found noticeable distortion at its extremities, which shows they can be adjusted to beyond the hardwares (dac) capabilities, which seems odd, it would have been better to have this capped at a certain level. As for the MSEB - it's the preferred option over the 10 band equaliser and you will get a more 'personal' sound using this. Overall, this is a genuinely fantastic little DAP.

Absolute divine little device that suits its purpose as a media player. Sound quality is great, battery holds quite well when playing though I noticed a 10% battery drain overnight while the device is switched off. Overall great device, easy to use and its size is perfect. Quite surprised at how small it is, even better!! The online manual was of great help when diving into the lesser known configuration.
