Check which size you are ordering. A short handle means less leverage — that is the point, but it also means this is not the tool for a tight or seized nut. Adjustable spanners grip on two flats only and round off tight fasteners more easily than a ring spanner or socket. Pull towards the fixed jaw, take up the slack first, and never extend the handle with a pipe.
