Please read before ordering

• Check the thread size and pitch of your own drain plug before ordering. The vehicle lists above are a guide only — manufacturers use several sizes across their range, and cross-threading a sump is an expensive mistake.
• Check the plug length too. A plug that is too long can foul the oil pickup or the baffle.
• Use a new crush washer every time, and tighten to the manufacturer's torque figure. Do not overtighten — an aluminium sump strips easily.
• Aftermarket part. Not made by or affiliated with Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Scion, BMW, Ford, Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi, GM or Subaru — those names identify only the vehicles the thread sizes suit.

Good to know

• A magnetic plug catches ferrous debris. Clean the magnet at every oil change — that is the point of it. A little fine paste is normal; metal flakes or chips mean something is wearing badly and needs investigating.
