Works well, grippy and feels like real silicone, easily stored by rolling up. Resistant to being grazed by a hot soldering iron and solder doesn't stick. A little too grippy though, dirt tends to stick to it even if you whack it on the table so you gotta wash it a lot if you work in a dusty environment, but that's my fault so it stays five stars.

Mat is as described; actually its better than anticipated after receiving it! Size is larger than expected so space and the storage is more than adequately functional and useful. Heat resistance is perfect, no odd or overwhelming smell when first opened or when in use. 10/10 solid purchase. I think I ordered the smaller size by mistake, but I am happy with the product. it will actually fit better than the bigger size, so happy accident. I wil use it to suport camera repairs on my desk. recommended.
