Warded Lock Pick Set - Skeleton Key Locksmith Tools

Warded lock pick / skeleton key set for locksmiths and lock-sport hobbyists, plus a combination-padlock decoder. 175 or 178 piece sets.

What it is

• Warded locks use fixed obstructions (wards) rather than pins. A shaped skeleton key passes the wards and turns the lock.
• Warded locks are low-security and are commonly found on lockers, cabinets, access panels and older interior doors.
• The set also includes a decoder for multi-wheel combination padlocks.

Important — legal notice, please read

• Sold for locksmiths, security professionals, property owners opening their own locks, and lock-sport practice on locks you own.
• Possession of lock picks is a criminal offence in many places. In England and Wales, carrying them with intent to use them in a burglary is an offence under the Theft Act 1968. Several US states, Canadian provinces, Australian states and European countries restrict or prohibit possession outright, sometimes regardless of intent.
• It is your responsibility to check the law where you live before ordering. By ordering, you confirm you may lawfully possess these tools and will use them only on locks you own or are authorised to open.
• We will not supply these tools where we have reason to believe they are intended for unlawful use.

Good to know

• These tools work on warded locks. They will not open pin-tumbler, disc-detainer, tubular or high-security locks.
• Picking can damage a lock. Do not practise on a lock you need to keep working.

Our standard store returns policy applies.
