Check the tooth count, chain pitch and mounting pattern against your own gearbox before ordering. Small-engine parts vary between builders even at the same engine size.
Changing the tooth count changes the gearing: fewer teeth means more pull and a lower top speed, more teeth the reverse.
Road legality: 47cc and 49cc pocket bikes and mini quads are generally not road legal. In most of the US, UK and EU they may only be used on private land with the owner's permission. Check your local rules.
