Steam does not clean out or shrink pores. Pore size is set by your skin. Warm steam softens the skin's surface and makes the face feel clean and relaxed — that is what a steamer does.

Please read this about ozone

Ozone is a lung irritant, not a health feature. Breathing it causes coughing, chest tightness and airway inflammation, and it is worse for anyone with asthma or any lung condition. It is not something you want near your face, and the "ozone" function on cheap imported steamers has no safety testing behind it.

If this unit has an ozone function, we recommend you do not use it. Use it as a plain warm mist steamer. If you have asthma or any breathing condition, do not use the ozone setting at all.

Safety

This produces hot steam and holds hot water — it can scald. Keep your face at the distance stated in the manual, never lean directly over the nozzle, and never move or tip it while it is hot. Use it in a ventilated room.

Use only clean or distilled water; never add oils, herbs or anything else to the tank. Limit sessions to about 10 minutes. Do not use if you have rosacea, eczema, active sunburn or very sensitive skin — heat makes those worse. Unplug it before filling or emptying, and let it cool fully first. Never leave it running unattended or within reach of children. Read the manual before first use and check the plug matches your country's supply.
