Safety — read before use
Connect red to the positive terminal first, then black to a bare metal earth point on the engine block, well away from the battery. Never clamp black to the negative battery terminal — that is where a spark meets battery gas, and battery gas explodes.
Never jump a battery that is frozen, cracked, leaking or swollen. No smoking or sparks near a battery. Wear eye protection.
Do not store it fully discharged or leave it in a hot car. Recharge it every few months or it will be flat when you need it. A swollen lithium pack must go to a battery recycling point, never in household waste.
