Safety — read this before you fit it

• If you are fitting this to an angle grinder, stop and check the blade and the grinder are rated for it. Toothed wood-cutting discs on angle grinders are a common cause of serious hand and face injuries: the teeth grab, the tool kicks back violently, and an angle grinder has no guard, no riving knife and no brake. Several countries' safety regulators advise against them. A circular saw, jigsaw or reciprocating saw is the right tool for cutting wood.
• Never exceed the maximum rpm marked on the blade. If the blade has no marked rpm, do not use it on a high-speed tool.
• Wood only. Do not use it on metal, masonry, plastic, or wood containing nails or screws.
• Full face shield (not just glasses), gloves, hearing protection and long sleeves. Use both hands and keep the guard fitted where the tool has one.
• Check the blade for cracks, missing or chipped teeth before every use, and throw away any blade that has been dropped.
• Clamp the work. Never hold small pieces by hand.
