The "2000X" figure quoted by the manufacturer is digital magnification on the screen, not true optical magnification. Digital zoom does not add detail. A screen microscope also gives a flat 2D image, which takes getting used to for soldering compared with a stereo microscope. Check what stand and accessories are included, and do not stare into the ring light.
