Pet Car Seat Belt Tether — Aluminium Alloy Safety Buckle for Collar or Harness
A short car restraint tether that clips into a standard seat belt buckle at one end and onto your pet's harness at the other, with an aluminium alloy clip. Keeps a dog from moving around the cabin.
Key Features
Clips into a standard seat belt buckle
Aluminium alloy hardware
Lightweight and portable
Adjustable length on most versions
Important — attach it to a harness, never a collar
Always clip this to a properly fitted body harness, never to a neck collar. In even a light impact or a hard stop, a tether attached to a collar can cause serious neck injury or strangulation.
What this is not
This is a travel restraint that stops a pet moving around the car. It is not a crash-tested safety device and has not been through any crash certification. It will not protect your pet in a collision the way a crash-tested carrier or a certified harness system will. If crash protection matters to you, use a crash-tested carrier.
Keep the tether short enough that your pet cannot reach a window or the front seats, and never leave a pet tethered in a parked car.
It worked perfectly with my Mercedes Benz. The other seatbelt systems we tried for our pets always kept ringing the no seat belt alarm. It was very annoying! This finally solved the problem, and we can travel with our dogs secure on the backseat now! Highly recommend.
