⚠ Safety — read this before you fit it
Metal-cored line is not suitable for every trimmer. Check your machine's manual — many manufacturers approve plain nylon line only, and fitting metal-cored line to a machine not rated for it damages the head and voids the warranty.
Steel-cored line does not break cleanly like nylon. Broken pieces are thrown at high speed and will cut skin and injure eyes.
Wear a full face shield — not just glasses — plus long trousers, boots, gloves and hearing protection.
Keep the guard fitted, and keep everyone, including pets, well clear.
Check the line diameter your head accepts before ordering.
