Check the line diameter your machine takes before ordering. Line that is too thick will not feed and overloads the motor; too thin and it snaps constantly. The diameter is usually printed on the trimmer head or in the manual.

Nylon line dries out and goes brittle in storage. Soaking a spool in water for a few hours before use makes it last noticeably longer. Wear eye protection and keep the guard fitted.
