• Check which head unit your car has — NBT, NBT EVO or CIC — before ordering. Model year alone is not enough; BMW used several systems across these cars and the connectors differ.
• Some cars need coding or a firmware step after fitting. Factory features such as reversing camera, PDC display and iDrive controls may behave differently once an interface is added.
• This is a Linux interface box, not an Android tablet. It runs CarPlay and Android Auto only — you cannot install apps on it.
