Good to know
Reception depends entirely on where you are, the time of day and what is on the air. Shortwave and air band in particular need a clear location away from electrical interference; indoors in a modern building you may hear very little.
Air band lets you listen to aviation voice traffic where that is legal. In the UK it is an offence under the Wireless Telegraphy Act to listen to transmissions you are not authorised to receive, and similar restrictions apply in some other countries. Check your local law.
Sound quality from a radio this size is what you would expect from a small single speaker.
