Important — check the alloy before you order
The listing does not state whether this solder contains lead. That matters. Check the alloy in the product options (60/40 and 63/37 contain lead; Sn99 and similar do not).
Leaded solder cannot legally be used in most consumer electronics sold in the UK and EU under RoHS, and it must not be used on anything that contacts food or drinking water. Leaded solder is still permitted and widely used for repair and hobby work — but you need to know which you have.
Safety
Solder and flux fumes are harmful and can sensitise your airways. Work with fume extraction or good ventilation, and do not lean over the joint.
Wash your hands after handling solder, and never eat, drink or smoke while soldering — that is how lead is ingested. Keep it away from children and pregnant women. "No-clean" flux still leaves a residue; clean boards with isopropyl alcohol where appearance or high impedance matters.
