Check the pad diameter against your jack saddle and stand in the product options. A pad that does not sit properly on the saddle can pop out under load.
Safety — this is jacking equipment
Never get under a car supported only by a jack. Use axle stands, on firm level ground, with the handbrake on, the car in gear or park and the opposite wheels chocked.
Use the manufacturer's designated jacking points. A pad does not make a wrong lifting point safe, and lifting on the wrong part of a sill or floorpan bends it.
The "6 ton" figure is a supplier claim, not a certified rating, and the pad is never the limiting factor anyway — your jack and stands are. Check the pad for splits and perishing before each use and replace it when the rubber cracks.
