Magnetic PCB Holder Pins — 4 Piece Spring-Loaded Board Locating Set

A set of four spring-loaded magnetic pins with carbon pillars, which stand on a steel work plate and hold a phone board or PCB down in position for soldering. The spring lets a board be dropped in and lifted out without unclamping.

Key Features

  • 4 spring-loaded magnetic pins
  • Strong magnets, carbon pillar design
  • Holds boards flat for soldering
  • Quick to reposition

These need a steel or magnetic work surface to stand on — check whether a plate is included in the product options. They will not work on a plain bench or a silicone mat.

Safe use

Keep strong magnets away from hard drives, bank cards, mechanical watches and pacemakers. They also attract steel swarf and solder splash, which then ends up on your board.

Discharge static before handling boards. Work with fume extraction or good ventilation — solder and flux fumes are harmful. Do not clamp a board with a lithium battery attached; puncturing a pouch cell can start a fire.

Simply amazed by these, how did I get by without them. Combined with a decent magnetic-friendly surface these hold strong and don't mess around. I was expecting maybe a screw on mechanism to hold the PCB down, but was delightfully surprised that it's a spring loaded system instead, just attach to a magnet friendly surface, push down on the holder and the jaws open up and clamp down tight when you let go. The magnets are super strong and hold onto my workspace firmly. Buy it, buy it now, you know you want to.

This things are great for holding small pcbs...They actually work much better than I thought they would considering the price...I use them on a spare piece of 6x12 sheet metal and the magnets are quite strong!

Great stuff. If you were wondering, they are about 5.5 cm long with a diameter of about 2 cm. Every single bit comes individually packaged in a small airtight bag. All you need is a magnetic surface to put them on.
