Check the bit type and size in the product options (PH2 is the usual plasterboard size) against the screws you are using. The depth collar sets the screw just below the surface — test on an offcut and adjust before doing a whole wall.
Wear eye protection when driving screws. Bits are consumables and wear out; a worn bit rounds off screw heads.
