What it actually does

• The suction and water lift surface oil and loosened debris, so skin looks clearer and feels smoother afterwards. Cleansing first also helps products spread and sit better on the skin.
• It is not a medical or clinical device. It is not the same as a professional hydradermabrasion treatment, and it does not treat acne, scarring, pigmentation or any skin condition. It does not push serum into the deeper layers of the skin, and it does not change pore size.

Safety

• Keep the head moving. Holding suction in one spot causes bruising and broken capillaries, especially around the eyes and on thin skin.
• Start on the lowest setting. Do not use more than once or twice a week.
• Do not use on broken, sunburnt, infected or actively inflamed skin, over open acne lesions, or on rosacea-prone skin.
• Avoid the eye area and the lips.
• If you take isotretinoin, have had a recent peel or laser treatment, or are under dermatological care, ask your doctor first.
• Stop if you get pain, bruising or lasting redness.
