• Check the measurement chart carefully against your own engine before ordering — bore, stud spacing and port layout. Allow 0.5–1.0cm for hand measurement.

Important — legality and safety

• Fitting a big bore kit takes a 50cc moped over the 50cc legal limit. In the UK and most of the EU that changes the vehicle's class: a 90cc machine cannot be ridden on a 50cc licence or a CBT-restricted moped entitlement, and riding it that way voids your insurance and is an offence. The change must be declared to your insurer and, in most countries, to the vehicle registration authority.
• A big bore kit also invalidates the machine's type approval and emissions certification.
• A 90cc top end needs the carburettor rejetted, the ignition checked and often the clutch and gearing changed. Running it as-is will hole a piston. Have it set up on a dyno or by someone who knows AM6 engines.
• The standard brakes, tyres and suspension were designed for a 50cc machine.
