About moissanite — and about the certificate

Moissanite is a laboratory-created stone, not a diamond. It is a real gemstone in its own right, it is very hard and very brilliant, and it is sold and priced as what it is. It is not a diamond substitute being passed off — and you should not be told otherwise.

A "GRA certificate" is not an independent gemmological report. GRA cards are printed by the sellers of moissanite and are not issued by GIA, IGI or any recognised laboratory. Treat it as packaging, not as certification. The stone is still moissanite; the card just does not prove anything.

Before you order

Measure your ring size properly — sizing charts vary between countries, and a full eternity band cannot be resized, because stones run all the way round. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest.

The metal is soft. An eternity band worn every day will show wear on the prongs; check the stones periodically. Keep it away from chlorine and perfume, and take it off for manual work.
