How it works — and what it does not do
This is a gravity feeder, not a timed or portion-controlled feeder. It refills the bowl whenever food is eaten, so your pet can eat as much as it wants. It is not suitable for a pet on a weight-control diet or a measured feeding plan.
It is not a substitute for someone checking on your pet. Do not use it to leave an animal alone for days — hoppers jam, water runs out, and a pet can be left with nothing.
Care
Wash the water reservoir and bowl every day or two. Standing water in a plastic dispenser grows bacteria and biofilm quickly, and this is a common cause of feline acne and upset stomachs. Only use dry kibble in the food side — wet food will block it and spoil.
Came very fast. I think it took a week total and one of those days was a holiday. It’s not ‘automatic’ more like a gravity feeder but perfect for my baby. She loves it. Water should last her a few days and food should last her a week if not more so this is perfect for us.
