Before you order
Check the plug you are removing — thread diameter, reach, seat type and heat range must all match. A plug with the wrong reach can hit the piston. The cross-reference list is a guide, not a guarantee for your specific engine; check your machine's handbook.
Set the electrode gap to the figure in your machine's handbook before fitting. Plugs are not always supplied pre-gapped correctly.
A plug is a consumable. If a new plug does not fix a starting problem, the cause is usually stale fuel, a blocked filter or a carburettor issue — not another plug.
