Before you order — check the thread carefully
This is an M8 x 1.25 RIGHT-hand thread. That is important: many strimmer shafts are left-hand threaded, and M10 is at least as common as M8. Check both the size and the direction against your machine — getting this wrong is the usual reason a replacement head will not fit.
Check the maximum line diameter your machine takes; line too thick will not feed and overloads the motor.
Safety
Wear eye protection and sturdy shoes, keep people and pets well away, and always run the machine with its guard fitted — the guard also carries the blade that trims the line to length. Stop the engine and remove the battery or plug lead before fitting the head or reloading line.
