Good to know
Silicone pads hold best on a clean, flat, non-textured phone case. Grip drops on rough or fabric cases, and dust reduces it — rinse the pad with water and let it dry to bring the grip back.
Heat and direct sun weaken any adhesive or silicone mount over time. Do not leave a phone in a mount in a hot car.
We do not recommend it for heavy phones on rough roads. Check the hold before you drive off.
Safety and the law
Mount it where it does not block your view of the road or any airbag. In many countries a mount that obstructs the windscreen is an offence.
Set your route before you move. Handling a phone while driving is illegal in the UK, most of the EU and most US states, whether it is in a holder or not.
