How it works

• A desiccant inside the bag draws moisture out of the air in a closed space.
• The water it collects gathers in the lower pouch. Empty it when it fills.
• Reusable — the desiccant can be dried out and used again. Follow the instructions on the pack.

What it will and will not do

• It is sized for a wardrobe, closet or cabinet, not a room. It will not dry out a bedroom, a kitchen or a damp wall, and it will not stop condensation on your windows — that needs ventilation or a proper dehumidifier.
• Drier air makes a closed space less prone to mustiness and mould growth. It does not kill mould or bacteria. Earlier supplier wording suggesting otherwise has been softened.
• If you already have visible mould or damp, find and fix the source.

Safety

• The liquid collected is a salt brine. It is corrosive and harmful if swallowed. Keep the bag out of reach of children and pets, empty it carefully, and rinse away any spills immediately — brine will stain and corrode metal, wood and fabric.
• Hang it where a leak cannot drip onto clothes or furniture.
