What it can and cannot do
Paintless dent repair works on shallow, smooth dents where the paint is not cracked or chipped. It will not fix a crease, a sharp dent, damage on a body line or an edge, or anywhere the paint is already broken.
This is a skilled job and it is easy to make the damage worse — over-pulling leaves a high spot that is harder to fix than the original dent. Practise on a scrap panel first, pull in small stages, and stop if the metal starts to stretch. On a car you care about, get a quote from a PDR technician before trying it yourself.
Glue tabs can lift paint on a resprayed or already damaged panel. Wear eye protection. Keep out of reach of children.
