How it works
Limit switches at each end cut the power automatically when the rod reaches the end of its travel, so the motor does not run on. Cut the power and it stops and holds position — the screw drive is self-locking. The rod extends and retracts without rotating; reversing the polarity reverses the direction.
A 20% duty cycle means intermittent use, not continuous running. Wiring, switch and power supply are not included.
