Fusion extensions are fitted with a heated connector directly against the hair and scalp. Done wrongly they cause burns, matting at the root, and hair loss when they are removed. Have these fitted and removed by a trained stylist.
Removal needs a keratin bond remover solution, not pulling. Trying to pull a fusion bond out takes your own hair with it.
Before you order
40–50g is a partial-head quantity. A full head of fusion extensions normally needs considerably more — talk to your stylist about grams before ordering.
Match the colour in daylight, and remember balayage packs blend two tones, so the placement matters as much as the shade.
Care
Do not put conditioner or oil on the bonds; it makes them slip. Brush from the ends up with an extension brush, tie hair back loosely at night, and have them checked and moved up every few months as your hair grows — bonds growing out unmanaged is what causes matting and breakage.
