The magnetiser block
The block does both jobs: one slot magnetises a tool, the other removes it. Demagnetising matters more than people expect — a magnetised screwdriver near a mechanical watch, a compass or older magnetic media causes real problems, and magnetised tips attract swarf.
Safety — not for electrical work
These are not insulated tools. Unless the product options confirm a VDE 1000V rating, do not use them anywhere near live conductors — a plastic handle is not electrical insulation. Isolate and prove dead first.
Never use a screwdriver as a chisel or a pry bar, and never hit one with a hammer unless it is designed for it.
