Before you order

This gun takes gun-grade foam canisters with a threaded collar — not the straw-type DIY cans. Check the thread standard in the product options against the foam you buy. Foam is not included.

Safety — important

Expanding foam contains isocyanates. Breathing the vapour can cause asthma and sensitisation, which is permanent once it happens. Use it only with good ventilation, and wear a suitable respirator, goggles and gloves. People who are already sensitised to isocyanates must not use it at all.

Uncured foam is extremely difficult to remove from skin — solvent will not take it off cleanly once it has started to cure. Cover your skin, and keep it away from your eyes and hair.

Foam continues expanding after it is dispensed. Never overfill a cavity, and never foam around a window or door frame you have not braced — expanding foam bows frames out of square.

Care

Clean the gun with PU gun cleaner immediately after use and leave a part-used canister attached. Cured foam inside the gun destroys it permanently, and that is how most of these guns die.
