Safety — please read this carefully

• Never rely on this pen alone to prove a circuit is dead. Non-contact testers give false readings in both directions — they can show nothing on a live wire that is screened, buried or behind a metal box, and they can light up from a nearby cable that is not the one you are touching. Prove dead with a two-pole voltage tester or a meter, on the correct method: prove the tester works, test the circuit, prove the tester again.
• This tool carries no safety category rating (CAT II / III / IV) or insulation certification that we can verify. Do not treat the screwdriver end as insulated for live work. It is not a certified 1000V VDE screwdriver.
• Do not use it on consumer units, distribution boards or three-phase supplies.
• Turn the power off at the breaker before working on any fixed wiring. If you are not qualified, use an electrician — in many countries fixed wiring work is legally restricted.
• Check the body and tip for cracks or damage before every use.
