This is a spinning reel, despite "fly reel" appearing in some supplier text. It will not work as a fly reel.
The 8kg drag figure is the supplier's rating measured at full lock and has not been independently tested. In practice you fish well below maximum drag, and line strength usually becomes the limit first.
"Sealed" bearings on reels at this price are shielded rather than fully waterproof. Rinse with fresh water and dry after saltwater use, and oil the bearings periodically.
