Please read before ordering
Check the thread size and pitch of your own drain plug before ordering. The vehicle lists above are a guide only — manufacturers use several sizes across their range, and cross-threading a sump is an expensive mistake.
Check the plug length too. A plug that is too long can foul the oil pickup or the baffle.
Use a new crush washer every time, and tighten to the manufacturer's torque figure. Do not overtighten — an aluminium sump strips easily.
Aftermarket part.
Good to know
A magnetic plug catches ferrous debris. Clean the magnet at every oil change — that is the point of it. A little fine paste is normal; metal flakes or chips mean something is wearing badly and needs investigating.
