These are shorts, not trousers. The listing title previously said "pants" and "shorts" at the same time — check the product photos and the length in the size chart so you know what you are ordering.
Check the size chart against your own waist measurement; these are Asian sizes and run smaller than US and UK sizes. "Tactical" here describes the styling and the pockets — this is casual outdoor clothing, not protective or flame-resistant workwear. Wash cool.

I went with XL(EU52) even if I'm technically a L(EU50) - I got hip 107 cm/42,1" (waist 98 cm/38,6"). I did not know these shorts have stretch (in the back) and wanted to be sure I fit them. Because they have stretch L(EU50) would have been a better fit, and even, I think, M(48) would have worked. right now they go all the way up to my belly button. But I usually always have a summer shirt over my summer shorts, so no issue here. Very nice quality and soft material. They are thin, but that's good for summer. I like them. Super quick shipment.
