What it will and will not do
It is sized for a wardrobe, cupboard or cabinet, not a room. A 5W unit will not dry out a bedroom, a basement or a damp wall — for that you need a compressor dehumidifier.
Drier air makes a closed space less prone to musty smells. It does not kill mould, bacteria or anything else — earlier supplier wording suggesting otherwise has been removed.
If you already have visible mould or a damp problem, find and fix the source. A device like this will not.
Safety
The unit gets warm in use. Keep it clear of fabric, paper and anything flammable, and do not cover it.
Do not leave it running unattended for long periods, and check the mains adaptor suits your country's supply.
