A profile contour gauge that copies the shape of a moulding, a pipe or a skirting so you can trace it straight onto tile, laminate or timber and cut it once.
Key features
- Sliding pins take the shape of whatever you press it against
- Copies skirting, architrave, pipes and irregular edges
- Traces straight onto the material for cutting
- For tiling, laminate flooring, woodwork and carpet fitting
- Holds its shape while you carry it to the workpiece
How to use it
Press the gauge squarely against the profile until every pin has settled, lift it away without knocking it, lay it on the tile or board and draw round it.
Good to know
Accuracy depends on pressing it square and keeping it flat. On very fine detail the pin width limits how much shape it can pick up, so check the traced line before you cut.

Functional, does the job. A bit stiff and teeth stick together and come out where they should not have. But you can press them in against the profile and achieve the outline required.

For the money, it works great! especially useful for crown moldings and laminate floor installation
