What it actually does

• Warm steam softens the skin's surface and loosens debris, which makes cleansing and extractions easier. The magnifier helps you see what you are doing.
• It is not a medical device. Steam does not permanently shrink pores — pore size is fixed, and warm steam only makes a cleared pore look smaller for a while. It does not treat acne or any other skin condition. Earlier supplier wording claiming pore shrinking has been softened accordingly.
• Use distilled or filtered water. Tap water leaves scale.

Safety — please read

• The mist is hot and can scald. Keep the nozzle at least 30–40cm from the face, never point it at anyone else, and never open the tank while it is hot or under pressure.
• Limit sessions to around 10 minutes. Longer or closer can burn or dry the skin.
• Do not use with rosacea, active eczema, sunburn, broken skin, very sensitive skin, or after a recent cosmetic procedure, without asking a dermatologist.
• Water and mains electricity: keep the base dry, use an RCD/GFCI-protected socket, and never fill it while plugged in.
• Do not look into the LED lamp. Keep away from children.
• Check the plug type suits your country. The unit is marked CE, but we have not verified the certification independently.
