Works surprisingly well for welding nickel strips on batteries. Need the right setting and right angle, but once you get the hang of it, it works great! It also feels like it’s a really expensive tool. The build quality is pretty good. Good welder for the price point. Comes with spare electrodes, a file, charge lead and some nickel strip. So far I have assembled a couple of 21700 cell battery packs with this unit and am happy with the performance and weld quality .
